Sam Harrison has been on all sides of creative communications, marketing and branding – the agency and freelance side, the client and corporate side and, most recently, the academic and consulting side.
He is on the advisory council for the HOW Conference and a speaker at that conference for the past five years. He is also a recommended speaker for the International Association of Business Communicators and a frequent speaker at IABC’s World Conferences and its local chapters.
He also teaches creativity, writing and presentation-skills classes at Portfolio Center, a graduate-studies program for writers, designers and photographers. And he has guest-lectured at many colleges and universities.
He is the author of two popular books on creativity: ZING! Five steps and 101 tips for creativity on command and IdeaSpotting: How and where to find your next great idea. His third book, IdeaSelling: Successfully pitch your creative ideas to bosses, clients and other decision makers will be released by HOW Books in Spring 2010.
